The original Troop C "Blue Ghost" assets were used to raise Troop F "Blue Ghost", 8th Cav, April 1, 1968. "Blue Ghost" departed Vietnam, February 26, 1973. Troop
C (replacement) was raised from assets of Troop C, 2/17th Cav,
Fort Campbell, KY, May 1, 1968 and assigned July 15, 1968. |
